Fictional Banknotes

I was tasked with creating three fictional banknotes for a country outside of the United States.

I chose to create banknotes as replacements for the Balboa coin, Panama’s only currency aside from the US dollar bill.

The result is a collection of brightly-colored bills that emphasize Panama’s unique wildlife, famous canal, and callbacks to the original Balboa coin so that the transition to the bills is less jarring.
