Display the phrase “Change My Mind” in a way that visually evokes the meaning behind the saying.
I knew I wanted to utilize typography that felt malleable rather than solidified for the word “change” and found the typeface Rubik Puddles which is a perfect representation of change through a rippling effect. After adjusting colors a few times, I noticed that the same typeface worked really well as a sort of brain texture for the “mind” portion of the phrase.
The resulting poster catches the eye and guides it through a highly textured and unstable section with high contrast before settling into a much calmer, smoother, and lower contrast zone.
